In the past few years we seen the rise of Internet lawsuits. Anyone can see that if this trend holds out much longer, the governmemt will step in and regulate everything on the wold wide web. Think of everything else used for entertainment and comunication (FCC). It controls all of our radio, tv, telecomunications and if all the lawsuits continue, the Internet. This of course is based upon opinion and is not to be construde as fact.

After the fall of napster, record sales dropped. Why can't the powers that be see that any advertisement is good for business? I for one have no problem buying an album or film retail, I own several DVD's and CD's, I also am a user of several file sharing programs. I will not stop buying music and movies because of a download. I can't see why the majority of file sharing users will quit buying retail media.

I would like to close this segment by saying:

I don't want to live in the USSR, so please support open source.
